Peer Support Services

Lyons Fire is proud to partner with the Multi-Agency Peer Support (MAPS) team. The MAPS team works with Lyons Fire, Big Elk Meadows Fire, Hygiene Fire, Pinewood Springs Fire, Allenspark Fire, and Lefthand Fire to provide peer support services and counseling for first responders. The MAPS team is composed of licensed clinicians as well as certified peer supporters.

The MAPS team focuses on resiliency and strives to help new and experienced first responders adapt to the challenging first responder lifestyle. MAPS also works with first responders to provide counseling and support services without incurring a financial burden on the responders or their families.
