Lyons Fire has nine paramedics who rotate through shifts to fully staff the Lyons Fire Protection District. These paramedics have certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), and more.

In addition, Lyons has an Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipped Fire Engine as well as an ALS equipped Ambulance to provide care to the Lyons Fire Protection District and assist with care to neighboring districts. For complex medical or rescue calls, Lyons Fire has the ability to call in aid from Rocky Mountain Rescue, Med Evac, Flight For Life, Boulder Emergency Services, and other specialty units.
