May 6th 2025 Mail Ballot Election

The Lyons Fire Protection District will be conducting a mail ballot election on May 6, 2025 to elect members to the District Board and pose 2 ballot questions. Below is a copy of the ballot that will be mailed to all registered voters within the district. Ballot question A asks the voters to approve a mil levy increase for the LFPD and Ballot question B asks the voters to remove a growth cap on the district's mil levy that is slated to go into effect in 2026. Ballots will go out in mid April, please watch your mailbox for them. If you do not receive a ballot and you believe this to be an error, you can request one in person at the fire station at 251 Broadway in Lyons between 9a-4p M-F after April 14.
