LFPD has successfully achieved a new lower Insurance Service Office (ISO) rating thanks to the diligent efforts on the part of the district and its firefighters. The Lyons Fire Protection District is currently a 3. The 3 applies to property within 5 road miles of either fire station within the district. If the property is greater than 5 road miles from a station, the ISO rating of 10 still applies.
